One of the things I did before vacation was to go to the Blizzard Store and ordered a Blizzard Authenticator, which is the new device that generates a random code for you to enter after entering your username and password on the login screen. In order to use one, you must first merge your World of Warcraft account into a account, and from there you can specify the Authenticator’s serial number you receive from the store.

In playing MMO’s for a long time, one of the biggest tragedies that occurs is when accounts get stolen, and the addition of this piece essentially guarantees that you will never have your account compromised. To get started, simply visit these links:
